Here’s Why Mel B Angrily Threw A Cup Of Water At Simon Cowell During America’s Got Talent Live Show Mel B threw a cup of water at Simon Cowell during America’s Got Talent after he cracked a crude joke at her expense. Afterwards, she stormed off the stage in outrage. Mel B is going through a bitter divorce with her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte and Simon made an insensitive joke by likening one of the contestant’s performance to Mel B’s wedding night, saying it had  “not much promise or delivery”.
